Welcome to the upcoming book, “Triflers Need Not Apply: Seeking a Feminist Man in A Millennial Dating Hellscape” by Amalia Howard. This sarcastic memoir of a millennial’s dating life is explores the paradoxes and paradigm changes of dating from the dawn of the internet age to today, and celebrates acknowledging the absurdity of modern courtship.
“At twenty I wanted summertime walks in nighttime gardens holding hands and falling asleep talking in each other’s dorm room bunk beds. At thirty, I just want somebody to help me remember to pay my brand new mortgage on time. (And I’m one of the lucky few who has a mortgage at thirty.)”

Biography
I’m Amalia Lynn Howard and I’m ready to find someone who wants to put as much work, joy, intention, anxiety, fun and love into a relationship as I do. In this book I’m telling the story of the huge amount of time I’ve spent sorting through the mediocre men out there, from the philosopher fuckboys, to the confidently insecure workaholics, to the honey-tongued self salesmen. I’ve figured out what went wrong before so that I can recognize the bad and value the good when it shows up. I’m ready to take this relationship thing to the next level. So my match had better be ready to go there with me.
Triflers need not apply.
